Music Department Yearbook Orders Due December 23
The first ever Music Department Yearbook is now available for pre-ordering. This 60 page, FULL COLOR yearbook will contain both formal and candid photos, and lots of fun details. All Music Department groups will be featured in the book. It will be printed on archival quality paper, and have a heavyweight laminated color soft cover with perfect binding that has a lifetime guarantee. This book is being offered to students and parents at cost for only $24, and includes a free disc of selected candid photos. Parents can also put in a 40-word message at the back for only $5. Remember, the Nashua South Senior Yearbook only contains a few pages (in black-and-white) of your students, so this book will be a great way for them to keep their music memories forever! The order form can be found here, and all payments are due into the Directors by December 23. Order forms will also be available at the Santa Fund Concert.
Shorty's Fundraisers in January and February
Who wants to cook after the holidays? We don't! Why not take the family to Shorty's in Nashua for a great meal? On four Thursdays in January and February, the Boosters will receive 15% of all receipts left in our "bowl" at the hostess desk from 4pm to 9pm! The four dates are January 15th and 29th, and February 12th and 26th. All dates can be found on the Calendar. As always, every dollar that comes back to us will help the students of the Music Department. See you at Shorty's!
Start Saving Those Shaw's Receipts!
The Music Boosters are now participating in the Shaw's Receipt Rewards Program. The Boosters will receive 1% of the sales receipts turned in from any Shaw's or Star Market. You can turn in your receipts at any Booster meeting, send them in with your Music student to put into the collection boxes in the Music Directors' classrooms, or mail them to us at PO Box 278, Nashua NH 03061. So go ahead and ask your neighbors, your family, and your friends for those receipts! Every dollar earned will help the students.
Music Themed Winter Spirit/Gift Items Now on Sale!
We now have a variety of music themed winter and gift items for sale! All knit items are made of 100% acrylic and are machine wash and dry. If you purchase a set (hat, mittens and scarf) you will save $6 for a total price of only $40. These items will be available all winter. The order form can be found here. Congratulations to Members of our Music Department Family
We have added a new page to our website that recognizes the accomplishments of the members of our NHSS Music Department family. The results of the New Hampshire Classical and Jazz Allstate auditions were recently announced and all NHSS festival participants have been posted on our new Musicians of Note page! The page will be updated throughout the year; there's a shortcut button on the left side of all pages on the site.
