Spring Spirit Wear Now Available for Ordering!
Spring Music spirit wear is now available for ordering. This year, sweatshirts, sweatpants, warm-up jackets, and t-shirts are being sold. Sweatshirts and warm-up jacket prices include free personalization. Limited edition 3-color Orlando trip t-shirts are also available for only $8 per shirt! You can use credit card and check for payments; online ordering is not available. All checks must be made payable to Red Brick Clothing. All forms are due with payment to the Music Directors by February 19. Photos of all items are on the form.

Attention Graduating Seniors and Parents! Booster Scholarship
The Music Boosters will again be awarding four scholarships to graduating Seniors this year! Applicants must be currently active in the music program (Choral programs, Band, and/or Color Guard). Equal consideration is given to (1) financial need, (2) service to school and community through participation in Music Boosters activities and other school and community-based programs, and (3) musical aptitude. Planned participation in college music activities and/or curriculum will be considered. The scholarship application can be found here. All forms are due into the Music Directors by May 3, 2010. Nashua High South Music 2010 Yearbook Order Form Now Available

Now in its second year, the Nashua High South Music Yearbook is being offered to Music Department students and families! This FULL COLOR, FULL SIZE 70 page yearbook will contain both formal and candid photos of Music Department students and events. The book will contain photos of the Spring 2010 Music Department trip to Orlando. Reserve your copy now -- the book is being offered at NO MARKUP, at a price of only $25. Insert a special message to your student -- you can insert a 60-word message, or a 1/8-, 1/4-, 1/2- or full-page message with photos in the back of the book! We can help you design your message. Orlando Trip Fee Change
Due to an increase in the cost of air travel, there has been an increase in the cost of the trip to Orlando. A letter from the Music Directors providing additional details can be found here.
Band Apparel Still Available
There are still a few commemorative shirts and shorts left for sale. All shirts feature this year's drill design and shorts have the NHSS Music Department imprint. If you are interested in these items, please contact Barbara at griffeyb@nashuasouthmusic.org for sizes and prices. We will also be selling the remainders at all NHSS home football games at the Music Booster table next to the stands at Stellos. Look for us and say hi!
Shaw's Receipt Rewards has Changed - Now Much Easier
The Shaw's Receipt Rewards program has changed. Instead of saving and passing in receipts, customers can now enroll their Shaw's Rewards card number on the Shaw's website to credit their purchases. All purchases made at Shaw's on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday ONLY will count. The Boosters will receive 1% of the sales recorded at any Shaw's or Star Market. That's it, you do nothing else! Complete instructions can be found here. So go ahead and ask your neighbors, your family, and your friends to register their number! Every dollar earned will help the students.
Does Your Company Reward You for Volunteer Hours?
Did you know that some companies donate to organizations that their employees volunteer for? If you volunteer for the Boosters, then your hours may be worth a donation to our organization! Remember that the Boosters are a 501 c(3) nonprofit, and your company's donation will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Have you filled out your 2009-2010 Booster Membership form?
In order to keep your membership with the Boosters current, you must fill out a membership form. If you would like to volunteer but not become a member, just let us know on the form (you do not need to be a member to volunteer, although only members can vote during meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month). We would love to have your participation and great ideas!
